What Is Wise Woman Healing?

What Is Wise Woman Healing?

Hello there,

Welcome to the inaugural entry in The Herbal Almanac here on Awaken Apothecary. My intention here is to build an ecosystem of thoughts, words and visuals to help bring you into a deeper relationship with yourself, Mother Earth and a reciprocal way of living that will feed your soul, your heart and bring you into a greater awareness of who you are here to be.

As this is the beginning, I think it makes sense to try and define what wise woman healing is. I say try, because this path is different for each of us who choose to walk it. While it does have some defining tenets, which we will unpack together, it’s up to us how we express it.

What is wise woman healing is a question I will return to over and over, but today, let me share with you what I feel it means to be a wise woman healer.

Being a wise woman healer means living in connection
To follow this path is to step into relationship with every living thing
It is to honour the mysteries of life,
To be always conscious of the thread of Spirit that dwells within everything and holds us all together

To choose this wise woman healing path is to choose to listen with all your senses
To feel with all your senses
And to discern with all the wisdom you have gathered

When you choose this path, you choose to honour all beings as unique and worthy
Every human is an ecosystem, their physical, mental, emotional and energetic systems connected
Every plant,
Every animal
The same

As a wise woman healer, you are in service to the mystery, to the thread of Spirit that dwells in every living thing.

To be a wise woman is to take responsibility for your energy
To care for it, cultivate it and keep yourself in the highest frequency

To be a wise woman is to understand the sacredness and honour of every living thing

To be a wise woman healer is to embrace life
To open your heart to its mysteries
Its rhythm and cycles

And to choose to stay connected to everything that is true.
With much love,

Cindy xxx
